These terms of use apply to the use of the StrainView platform at the domain strainview.com. By using the platform you agree to these terms.

StrainView is a community platform for documenting and exploring cannabis genetics. The platform allows browsing strains and breeder profiles, submitting content, and writing reviews.

StrainView is an information service. Content does not constitute a recommendation to purchase, cultivate, or consume. Users are solely responsible for checking the legal situation in their country.

Some features require registration. You are obliged to:

• provide accurate information during registration,
• keep your password confidential and not share it,
• notify us immediately if your account has been compromised.

Only one account per person is permitted. StrainView reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts in the event of violations.

The following is prohibited when using the platform:

• Submitting false, misleading, or incomplete information
• Using AI-generated text for strain summaries or descriptions
• Spam, advertising, or commercial self-promotion without authorisation
• Distributing unlawful, offensive, or discriminatory content
• Automated scraping without written authorisation
• Actions that impair the operation of the platform

You retain copyright over your own content. By submitting content you grant StrainView a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, display, and distribute that content on the platform.

You warrant that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

All content created by StrainView itself (design, code, texts) is protected by copyright and may not be used without authorisation.

Submitted content goes through manual review before being published. We reserve the right to reject or remove content without stating reasons.

StrainView accepts no liability for the accuracy of user submissions. Stated THC/CBD values and effect descriptions are user contributions provided without warranty.

StrainView strives for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance or technical issues may temporarily limit availability.

StrainView is not liable for damages arising from use or non-use of the platform, unless intentional or grossly negligent conduct is involved. The platform serves exclusively for informational purposes.

StrainView reserves the right to amend these terms. Registered users will be notified of material changes by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is, where permitted by law, the registered office of the provider (see Imprint).
